The AVAVA journey with Zikron

Our company AVAVA, Inc. is a small startup developing novel medical laser-based devices for dermatologic treatments. We had a bold vision to create a cloud connected device and a digital ecosystem that would connect the device, our company, and the users of the device. We also wanted our product to have a slick, modern user interface and a streamlined workflow. Although we had a big vision, we did not have the in-house expertise in software development to implement it.

We approached Zikron to help us build our vision. The Zikron team developed the device GUI and the entire digital ecosystem, including a physician portal and a company portal. The product, named MIRIA, is now on the market. The response from customers has been overwhelming. They love the user interface on the device, and the ability to analyze utilization of the device, and the predictive service feature that ensures minimum downtime of the device. I was impressed with the breadth of capabilities that Zikron brings to a project. In our case they were comfortable designing a complex GUI, building the cloud connectivity, online portals, building e-commerce capabilities, building remote diagnostic capabilities, and hardening our device from a cybersecurity standpoint.

Zikron was a pleasure to work with. They were flexible enough for a small startup like us, where the requirements are often changing quickly. They also worked fast to keep up with our tight timelines. They have been great partners and worked like an extension of our software team. We have continued to work with Zikron to evolve our platform and I would absolutely work with them for any future development project.
